Blueberries

Produced from fresh blueberries which have been harvested when optimally ripe. The fresh fruit is then washed, cleaned, inspected and frozen (IQF) as individual berries.

The resultant frozen product is then freeze dried to reduce the moisture of the fruit from natural humidity levels to a level where its stability is preserved and it can be store under ambient conditions for a prolonged period. If required, the dried whole blueberries can be lightly coated with vegetable oil to help maintain their physical stability and prevent granulation of the whole berries.

The product is metal detected prior to packing in a sealed pack.
