Commercial
The NFI Commercial Department manages all customer and supplier relationships, ensuring the effective sourcing, pricing, and supply of products. The team drives business growth through market insight, partnership development, and a commitment to delivering value, reliability, and exceptional service to our customers.
Technical
The NFI Technical Department oversees quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance across all our products and processes. The team ensures suppliers meet rigorous standards, maintains certification requirements, and supports continuous improvement through auditing, testing, underpinned by strong technical expertise, delivering exceptional technical service to our customers.
Logistics
The NFI Logistics Department coordinates the efficient movement, storage, and delivery of goods across our supply chain. The team ensures accurate order handling, reliable transport, and on‑time delivery, working closely with suppliers and customers to maintain smooth, cost‑effective, and traceable operations… delivering exceptional service to our customers.
2014 - 2017 Supplying Major Retailers
Began supplying M&S with ingredients for Christmas product ranges.
Started supplying Tesco UK with olive and label‑grade glace fruits. Business relations commenced with Ceres-Pioneer Foods. Brexit Journey began.

1988 - 1990 Foundations Established
Began as a dried‑fruit business in Europe, focusing on building strong customer and supplier relationships with high quality and legal standards.
Established NFI’s Technical Department to support quality and compliance.
1992 - 1994 Early Strategic Partnerships
Formed a key partnership with Portuguese tomato processor Sugal.
Set up KS Fruit Washers in Manchester to strengthen food safety processes.
2000 - 2008 Expansion and Diversification
Relocated to Portobello, Dublin, and expanded range to include tomato paste from China.
Formed a new partnership with Turgrul Tarim, broadening the dried fruit and nut offering across Asia.
1995 -1996 Strengthening Technical Excellence
Technical team expanded to model operations on ISO9000 standards.
Secured a strategic partnership with California raisin packer Caruthers Raisin Co.
