Currants

Air/Sun dried fruit of the grape family, processed as follows: At a company approved factory of origin in Greece:

Raw material is accepted from growers following detailed raw material inspection. The product is winnowed and stored in 250kg plastic bins pending processing.

Processing includes: Double processing through the following: two stages of multiple aspiration and sieving. Capstem removal by capstemmer, machine washing, de-stoning, belt picking, laser scanned, static picking, metal detection and coding.

The Currants will be of sound quality, wholesome, healthy, typical of the type specified, in terms of colour and size and general quality to be classified as provincial currants according to industry standards.
